About us Rainbow International of Greenville was started in 1999 by John Wheeler. Starting as the only employee, John ran every call from carpet cleaning to fire and water damage. He learned the trade from the ground up and began to grow the company. Rainbow International of Greenville added more territory in 2003 with Spartanburg and more in 2007 with Pickens County. Rainbow International of Greenville is now Restoration Services of the Carolina’s dba Rainbow International of Upstate SC and Western NC. When you call Rainbow International of the Upstate and Western NC you will always get a live person answering the phone with a smile on their face ( although you can’t see it, we hope you can hear it). Rainbow International Restoration and Cleaning has become the preferred company for many insurance companies and does work on a regular basis with about every insurance company in the Upstate of South Carolina and Western NC. " We will do the best job possible on your home and business." Rainbow International of the Upstate SC and Western NC also has a catastrophe team that travels around the east and southeast of the United States. In 1999, just weeks after Rainbow International started in Greenville, Rainbow International received a call from Savannah, GA about flooding that was happening. Rainbow was able to dry out over 20 homes in 2 weeks. After seeing the destruction of flooding and the helplessness the people felt when their homes and businesses were flooded and that there weren’t enough local companies to take care of the business, John set up a catastrophe team and has responded to storms like Hurricane Floyd in NC, the hurricanes of 2004 that ravaged Florida, hurricane Katrina in Mississippi and Louisiana 2005-2006, localized flooding in Boston and New Hampshire in 2006, tornados and flooding in GA in 2007, and Hurricane Ike in Texas 2008. |
